AddressWe are on the lookout for an Security Operations Consultant for one of our leading clients in financial services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record collaborating with stakeholders and contributing to platform migration and upliftment initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of SIEM, incident and patch management along with threat intelligence, penetration testing and vulnerability management and excellent stakeholder management skills.
What you will do:
This is a Security operations role and you will be responsible for:
- Monitor and analyse data from various security tools and systems
- Review the security control implementation across systems and services.
- Coordinate with the incident response team to handle security incidents and ensure effective resolution.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify potential security weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies.
- Assist in day-to-day threat mitigations against discovered threat in the world and provide risk and impact assessment
- Collaborate with the rest of cyber team on solving security issues on daily basis
- Stay up-to-date with the latest information about security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices
What will you bring:
- 5+ years experience in SOC operator experience in information security
- Incident management/response
- Vulnerability and patch testing management
- Penetration testing and threat intelligence
- Expertise in MS - Defender, Sentinel, SIEM
- Extremely strong communicator - teamwork, delivery, reporting, self motivated, critical thinking
