About the Role

The Security Team Manager (STM) serves as the day-to-day manager of a site Security Team that includes all security personnel at their site. The STM is responsible for building a cohesive and high performing team. Reporting directly to the Regional Security Manager, The STM is responsible for all security operations at their respective site. They will oversee security operations from the construction phase through to security lockdown and then serve as the day-to-day manager once the construction phase ends. Additional job functions may include assisting with operations at other sites within a geographical region. The successful applicant’s additional critical functions will include client service and problem resolution, service enhancement, security operations centre (SOC) systems maintenance, audit compliance, system monitoring, log maintenance, and access rights maintenance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Oversee security operations during the construction phase of the facility.
  • Once construction is complete oversee the day-to-day operations of the site.
  • Ensure all security personnel adhere to policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to interpret and implement Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Oversees site security systems to ensure safe and compliant operation of the facility.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots on-site security technology.
  • Recommends corrective actions for security staff to the Regional Security Manager.
  • Assists with site equipment inspections, and audit compliance.
  • Conducts recalling audits, prepares, and submits critical and confidential information directly to client management team.
  • Maintains required security documentation, ensuring accuracy in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Serves as primary point of contact to Datacenter management and security personnel.
  •  Coordinate directly with clients to manage day to day operations and critical incidents.
  • Build, develop and execute operational plans.

Qualification:

  • Valid Security License - with Control Room officer extension or willing to obtain.
  •  NV1 Clearance Required – Applicants with Baseline must be willing to undergo NV1 clearance.
  • Experience with screening and  control room operations - preferred but not essential.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including background investigation

Special Requirements:

  • Able to work evening or weekend hours when required, such as during an emergency event or crisis.
  • Must be willing to travel interstate and potentially oversees during initial training.
