A new and exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Accountsand Expenses Officer to join the Seven Finance Operations team.

In this role, you'll be at the helm of financial operations, overseeing the full accounts payable and expense management function with precision and expertise. You'll have the chance to showcase your skills as a subject matter expert, providing invaluable onshore support and nurturing key stakeholder relationships. Your role will be multifaceted, from managing day-to-day operations to mentoring team members and supporting strategic purchasing initiatives. Based in Eveleigh and reporting to the Accounts Payable and Expense Manager, you’ll be:

• Master of Operations: Dive into the dynamic world of full-cycle accounts payable and expense management, where you'll orchestrate seamless processes that keep our financial engine running at full throttle.
• Onshore Expertise: As our go-to subject matter expert, you'll ensure onshore support for accounts payable and expense management processing and procedures, bringing your expertise to every facet of our operations.
• Relationship Maestro: Forge strong bonds with key stakeholders, collaborating closely with our team to navigate the intricacies of accounts payable and expense management with finesse.
• Mentorship Maven: Share your wisdom and expertise by assisting in the training of our Accounts Payable and Expense Management Officer team members and internal stakeholders, empowering others to excel in their roles.
• Purchasing Prodigy: Play a pivotal role in supporting our purchasing function, contributing to the strategic procurement initiatives that drive our success.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Past experience working across all facets of Accounts Payable and Expense Management
• Clear, persuasive, concise and professional communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Advanced skills set in Excel and Word, demonstrating prior experience working with computerised accounting packages.
• Customer focussed with ability to work independently within an environment of high-level governance and tight deadlines.
• Ideally experience working with SAP Concur and Nologyone.
