Your new role
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will also provide tax advice and planning, liaise with the ATO and other authorities, and mentor junior staff. You will work closely with the partners and managers, and have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting in a public practice
- A degree in accounting or a related field.
- A sound knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations, and the ability to research and apply them to complex scenarios
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- A high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism
- A proactive and positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow
