Role Overview
As the Senior Accountant for Nexif Ratch, you will be an experienced and proactive professional, driven by high performance and collaboration. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be joining a close-knit team responsible for managing complex infrastructure accounting. As the Senior Accountant you will manage day-to-day accounting activities, preparing reports and managing processes, handling financial records efficiently and effectively. While ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining effective financial management, and cultivating professional relationships to support major business operations and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare end-of-month accounting entries and adjustments.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of all balance sheets and account ledgers.
- Prepare financial reports for presentation to the CEO, CFO, Board of Directors, and key stakeholders.
- Maintain the asset register for depreciation, asset management, and capital planning.
- Assist the Finance Manager in preparing quarterly forecasts.
- Manage the Year End Audit Process.
- Oversee tax filing activities in compliance with regulations.
- Analyse business performance against KPIs and quantify variances against budget, including ad-hoc analyses as requested.
- Support contract administration and ensure compliance with Financing Agreements.
- Review and track the annual budget.
- Prepare and coordinate regular updates and progress reports to Management.
About You
As the Senior Accountant, you will be a CA/CPA qualified candidate with commercial experience in a corporate environment. Applying your understanding of complex reporting processes, you will deliver results to multiple stakeholders within tight timeframes. The Senior Accountant will utilise their advanced communication and interpersonal skills, contributing as an active team player, building positive cross functional relationships across the organisation.

Essential qualifications
- A tertiary degree in Finance/Accounting
- CPA certification is a distinct advantage.
