About the Role:
The ANZ Finance Team operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where no two days are the same. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role is responsible for ensuring all financial and management reporting requirements are delivered to a high standard, as well as supporting on-going process improvements.
Key responsibilities:
- Month end and year end accounting
- Key point of contact with business units and wider finance team to provide detail and support as required.
- Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
- Providing coaching and mentoring to accountants
- Assisting external auditors and tax advisors
- Assistance with special purpose and statutory accounts
- Develop processes to ensure strong internal controls.
- Assistance with other administrative matters and ad-hoc projects as required.
About You:
- 5+ years’ experience across management/financial accounting positions or at a Big 4 or mid-tier firm (with 2+ years’ experience in management/financial accounting roles)
- This is an office-based role with the head office located in West Perth.
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to problem solve and make clear decisions
- Strong time management skills with the ability to be flexible
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
