Senior Accountant

Founded in 2011, our client is an independent medium sized practice with a diverse client range servicing the SME sector. Their business provides unparalleled personalized accounting services and their clients engage their services in roles that best add value to their business with their best interests in mind.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• General accounting and compliance services for clients including preparing financial statements, taxation returns, income tax returns, GST returns, and FBT returns
• Ensure all clients enquiries are attended to quickly with the provision of up-to-date and accurate advice
• Added Value and Business Development services for clients – on and off site
• Manage team meetings and workflow while the Director is away

The successful candidate will have:

• Must be CA qualified
• A minimum of 5 years of public practice experience
• Strong working knowledge of Xero and some knowledge of MYOB
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent self-motivation skills and be able to work to deadlines as part of an unsupervised team
