AddressMelbourne Physicians Group, located in North Melbourne, is a Specialist Medical Practice incorporating a dynamic group of Medical Specialists, Allied Health Professionals and their Administration Team. We are currently seeking a highly competent and experienced Specialist Medical Receptionist to work full time (38-40 hr/week negotiable) or part-time (min 3 days/week), generally 8am-5pm, in a busy and friendly team environment; to be responsible for:
· answering phone calls and making patient bookings (Genie software experience essential)
· liaising with specialists, hospitals and health funds and their staff
· organising patient billing and medical records
· preparing and receipting patient accounts
· send out patient reports/letters and information as required
Skills required: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record for working for a GP or Medical Specialist (greater than 3 years essential) with excellent communication skills, be competent in using Genie software (essential), advanced computer skills, possess a flexible attitude and solid time management skills, have meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work in a busy environment within a team of professionals.
Position is available immediately.
Job Type: Full-time or part-time, probation period 3 months
Salary: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour, based on previous experience
