Job Description
- This is a senior leadership role focusing on client management, supported by a production team of accountants and bookkeepers
- Provide client direction by addressing their needs and requirements, as well as coordinating their compliance outcomes
- Review client structures and financial forecasts to assist them in achieving their broader goals
- Develop your position as the trusted advisor to your clients
- Give direction to your Production Manager on workflow needs to ensure work outcomes are completed by the team accurately and within scheduled timeframes
- Assist your production team of accountants and bookkeepers in their skill development and work requirements
- Manage your team’s work and financial budgets
- Work directly with the firm’s principal
The Successful Applicant
- 10+ years of experience as a skilled tax accountant in public practice (essential)
- Strong client communication and planning skills (essential)
- Broad Australian Taxation knowledge and skills (essential)
- Time management and organisational skills (required)
- Experience leading a team of skilled accountants and bookkeepers (preferred)
- Designation of CPA, CA, IPA (preferred)
- Comfort with using In-the-cloud software (we are paperless, so all is online)
