Job Summary:
As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of less experienced accountants in your team, including job management, reviews, and training. You will also be responsible for undertaking all production accounting activities, including preparation, and analysis of financial statements and taxation requirements, and delivering quality, accurate outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents.
Client facing interactions. - Review and ensure the accuracy of financial reports and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. - Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and manage a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Qualifications:
CA/CPA qualification preferred.
5+ years of accounting experience.
Experience in public accounting.
Proficiency in Xero software.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
