About the Opportunity

Count Gold Coast is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant - Graduate Team Leaderbased in Southport, QLD.

This role, reporting to the Managing Principal, involves leading and nurturing a team of accounting graduates, focusing on their professional growth and workflow management.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading the graduate team to develop strong accounting skills
  • Nurturing the professional growth of team members
  • Managing workflow and scheduling to ensure efficiency
  • Reviewing work and providing constructive feedback
  • Preparing tax returns and financial statements
  • Developing and implementing training programs
  • Enhancing client engagement and service delivery
  • Monitoring performance and providing guidance during reviews

About You

To qualify, you must hold a CA or CPA certification and have at least 4 years of experience in a similar leadership role, ideally within public practice.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Analytical and accounting software skills 
  • Strong tax planning knowledge 
  • Superior communication skills
