We’re searching for an experienced Senior Finance Transformation Analyst to join us on our journey to be the trades most valued partner.
About the role
This is a key role in our Finance Transformation team, providing quality data analysis and modelling to support the design and development of commercial solutions that solve our business and technical problems. Supporting the Finance Transformation Manager, you will be leading project streams that deliver on our strategic initiatives.
- Support transformation manager in leading project streams through all stages, including scoping, discovery, implementation, and post-project support
- Take ownership of business analysis and technical problem solving; facilitate workshops and meetings with project SME’s to gather and interpret project requirements and distil key themes
- Design, develop and document detailed technical solutions that solve complex business problems, and influence to obtain business buy-in and approval.
- Demonstrate high proficiency in data analysis and complex modelling using SQL, Data Bricks, Microsoft Excel, Power Query and Power BI.
- Support project team using data to identify, validate and test business assumptions and solve problems.
- Demonstrate the ability to tell stories using data and provide business context to support decisions.
About you
- You have strong data and commercial acumen and leverage your experience and judgements to make recommendations and manage risks.
- Experienced in technical solution design and able to develop solution options and recommendations to solve complex business & technical issues.
- Demonstrated experience working in technology projects, with an understanding of agile principles and ways of working
- Ability to build strong relationships with leadership team, peers and across the business
- Proactive in investigating and adopting new technologies to achieve competitive advantage
- Bachelor degree, ideally in IT, Information Systems or Finance
