They have seen impressive growth across the business and have some interesting projects/acquisitions in the pipeline over the coming 12 months.
About The Role
Due to their recent growth and further acquisitions on the horizon, a newly created Senior Group Accountant role has arisen. You will report into the Group Finance Manager and have the following responsibilities:
- Preparation and presentation of consolidated monthly results.
- Monthly management/board reporting with variance analysis and commentaries.
- Tax compliance.
- Cash flow management.
- Fixed assets register.
- Liaising with various stakeholders including Divisional Finance staff, Operations staff and external auditors.
- Providing technical accounting advice to the business around changes to accounting standards (e.g. AASB15/16).
- Process improvements and ad hoc project involvement.
- CPA/CA qualified.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- You will have prior experience in a Financial Accountant role within a large complex business in a Group Reporting function.
- Or You will be making your first move from either an Audit or Corporate Tax role in professional services firm (working on listed clients).
- Strong Excel capabilities.
- High attention to detail, motivated and curious.
- Australian PR or Citizen (unfortunately no sponsorship is provided).
