WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant/Client Manager to join our growing team. Applications will be assessed in relation to the following criteria:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Professional certifications: Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), or CTA
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in preparing tax returns, financial statements, complex accounting tasks, financial analysis, and management reporting for Individual, Company, Trust, Partnership, SMSF
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Xero Practice Manager, MYOB, HandiSoft, Class, Dext etc)
• In-depth knowledge of Australian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
• Experience in liaising with government body organisations such as ATO, ASIC, ABR, R&D etc
• Consistent compliance with accounting standards, industry regulations, and legal requirements, including an ability to keep abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry trends through ongoing professional development.
• Ability to provide guidance on tax planning and strategies to optimize financial outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Capability to build and maintain strong client relationships, interacting with clients to understand their financial needs and provide advisory services.
• Leadership qualities, including the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff when needed.

Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our growing team. Applicants will be evaluated according to the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any relevant field
• Professional certifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) - preferably but not required
• Experience in preparing tax returns, financial statements, activity statements, journals
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Xero Practice Manager, MYOB, HandiSoft, Class, Dext etc)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work with team members, clients and government organisations
• Conscientious and aware of the changing tax rules and regulations
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Eager to learn and willing to be mentored
