An exciting 12-month fixed term contract role has been created due to increased workload across the team. A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a fast paced, dynamic tech driven financial services company based in the heart of the CBD.
As the Senior Accounts Officer your responsibilities will include:
- Day to day processing of all invoices across multiple entities
- Daily banking activities
- Debtor reconciliation
- Management of internal/external correspondence emails and enquiries
- Performance of routine supplier statement reconciliations
- Management of corporate credit cards and expense claims
- Performing new vendor set up procedures and maintenance of vendor master data
- Managing internal staff and external creditors relations, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the business
- Various General Ledger activities (journal entries, marking payments, system maintenance, etc)
- Adhering to the Risk & Control framework and ensuring relevant policies are adhered to, contributing to revision of policies to achieve both strong controls and organisational efficiencies.
- Assisting with continuous process improvement initiatives
- Ideally 5+ years' finance operations experience with experience specifically gained in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.
- Experience operating in a medium to high volume transactional environment.
- Experience in a medium to large corporate environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
