Senior Accounts Payable Officer

The Senior Accounts Payable (AP) Officer will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the AP team's day to day operations and take a hands-on role within the department ensuring that invoices are paid accurately, timely and in accordance with company and project procedures and policies. The Senior Accounts Payable will also play a crucial role in optimising processes, implementing best practices, and fostering strong vendor relationships.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and lead the external Accounts Payable team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and efficiency.Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable processes, including invoice receipt, validation, coding, approval, and payment processing.Review and approve invoices and expense reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.Coordinate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies, coding issues, and payment inquiries in a timely manner.Prepare and analyse Accounts Payable reports, metrics, and KPIs to monitor performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.Collaborate with cross-functional…
