Liontown Resources (ASX: LTR) is an ASX100 company with a focus on battery minerals. We aim to be an ESG leader in the resources sector and a globally significant provider of battery minerals for the rapidly growing clean energy market. We control two major lithium deposits in Western Australia and have ambition to grow our portfolio through downstream expansion and exploration acquisitions.
Our Kathleen Valley Lithium Project in Western Australia is a Tier-1 battery metals asset with excellent grade and scale. It is one of the largest and highest-grade hard rock lithium deposits in the world and is at the forefront of Liontown's low-carbon future. It is one of the few lithium projects globally in construction today with first production targeted for mid-2024.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Senior Accounts Payable Officer will play a critical role in managing and analysing financial data related to our mining operations. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient and effective financial management of our company, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
This will be a 5:2 roster in our brand-new West Perth office (Rhodes House).
Clear the Accounts Payable inbox by reviewing and categorising incoming invoices and related documents.
Accurately park and enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring proper coding and documentation.
Create service entry sheets for invoices related to services received.
Follow up on parked invoices to resolve any issues or discrepancies and ensure timely clearance for payment.
Reconcile purchase orders with invoices and collaborate with requisitioners to address any necessary amendments.
Actively resolve queries from vendors and internal stakeholders regarding invoice discrepancies, payment status, and general inquiries.
Perform thorough validation of new vendor details, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of systems and processes.
ABOUT YOU
Proven experience working as a Senior Accounts Payable Officerin the mining industry or a similar operational setting.
Proficiency in using SAP is essential as well as advanced MS Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity and ethical standards.
WHY LIONTOWN

The materials we produce are a critical input to global decarbonisation efforts and it is our responsibility to produce them with the lowest possible carbon footprint and manage the environmental impact at every stage. For this reason, at our Kathleen Valley operation, we have made a significant upfront capital investment via our energy partner, Zenith Energy, to ensure that at least 60% of our start-up energy requirements will come from renewable energy, from what is currently expected to be the largest off-grid wind-solar-battery storage hybrid power station for a mining project in Australia.
