Form of work About the role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, end-of-month/year processes and upholding best practices in Accounts Payable. The Senior Accounts Payable Officer will oversee a small team and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and supporting with wider aspects of accounting and finance, while providing exceptional customer service. In this role, you will undertake duties such as: Manage the Accounts Payable function Supervise a small team, providing guidance and support Implement best practice processes and procedures Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulatory requirements Resolve inquiries and disputes effectively with accurate information and professional and polite communication techniques Contribute to optimal system usage, leverage technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
