Grade
: Clerk Grade 9/10
Salary range: $120,859-$133,183 + superannuation and leave loading
Duration: Ongoing
Location: Parramatta or Sydney with occasional to travel to Gosford as need.
In-office requirement: This role requires working from the office 3-4 days a week.

About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Governance and Executive Services Coordinator to lead the development, implementation, and delivery of key governance practice areas, as well as the implementation of a secretariat framework. This is a newly created role that will report into the Executive Officer to the A/Deputy Secretary of SafeWork NSW. A primary focus of this role is to provide high-level secretariat support to the SafeWork Executive leadership team, ensuring efficient and effective executive services and governance practices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain accurate records to ensure current and relevant information is available.
  • Executive Services: Provide high-level secretariat support to the SafeWork Executive leadership team, including preparing agendas, minutes, and action items for
  • Strategic Contributions: Prepare committee papers, briefings, and reports with analysis and recommendations on governance activities for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Negotiate and influence outcomes, manage issues, and develop trust within the team to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed of relevant issues, policy obligations, industry trends, and opportunities to recommend innovative solutions that optimise outcomes and contribute to a best practice governance function.
