About the Role:
We are seeking applications for the position of Mechanical Product Engineer for our global headquarters and manufacturing campus in Murarrie, Brisbane. You’ll be part of a supportive team, backed by your Leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals in the team. This role is a full-time position Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Mechanical design of mass-produced medium voltage electrical switchgear. Prior experience in electrical switchgear not required, but product design and development experience is necessary.
- Prototyping, testing and validation of new products.
- Design of production jigs & fixtures.
- Provision of technical support to production, quality, procurement and other departments
- Product 3D modelling and creation of manufacturing drawings
- Implement, comply with and enforce NOJA Power quality, environmental and workplace
health and safety procedures.
What You’ll bring:
- Minimum 3 years Mechanical Engineering industry experience
- Experience in product design for mass manufacturing environment
- Excellent project management skills.
- Fantastic teamwork and communication skills.
