They're seeking a Senior Analyst – Corporate Finance to join their team and provide insightful commercial analysis and financial assessments.
As a Senior Analyst – Corporate Finance, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager – Corporate Finance to support strategic projects, conduct financial analysis, and contribute to financial planning and analysis activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborating on strategic initiatives such as M&A transactions, divestments, and partnerships.
- Conducting thorough evaluations of projects and strategies through financial modelling and qualitative analysis.
- Assisting in the preparation of board presentations by conducting market research and business modelling.
- Ensuring accuracy and functionality of forecasting models and contributing to annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Analyzing key drivers impacting financial performance and assisting in the analysis of capital expenditure activities.
- Collaborating with operational divisions to develop analytical tools for cost analysis and efficiency assessment.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in transaction services, M&A Advisory, or strategy, ideally with a minimum of two years’ experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce, Business, or related discipline.
- Ideally qualified as an internationally recognized Accountant (e.g., Australian CA, CPA).
- Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of business value drivers.
- Demonstrated experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial modelling, and proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across functions.
