Summary
The Senior Analyst, Risk and Audit will be a key member of the Group Risk and Audit team and play a pivotal role in delivering Risk and Internal Audit services across Aristocrat. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Risk and Audit.What You'll Do
Support the championing of best practice in governance, risk management, controls and internal audit to help improve the effectiveness of risk management and controls across the business
Partner with the business to assess the governance and management of risks as the business pursues strategic opportunities, to drive insight, challenge and help deliver on the business’s commitments and strategy
Help drive participation in the Business Resilience Program to ensure continuity in the face of crisis
Deliver best in class internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of processes and controls
Collaborate with the broader Group Risk and Audit team to enhance and support delivery of the company’s overall risk management framework.
The role may require some travel to ensure effective execution of responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be a proactive and highly-motivated individual who is able to manage multiple competing priorities, and a diverse set of stakeholders. They will partner closely with all areas of the business globally to promote and embed the enterprise risk management program within Aristocrat, and evaluate their management of risks through internal audit. In particular, the Senior Analyst, Risk and Audit will:
Risk
Partner with the business to identify, assess and mitigate current and emerging risks
Provide advice to the business on risk mitigation strategies and controls
Support the fostering of a risk aware culture within the organisation, including educating the business and finding opportunities to integrate risk principles into our ways of operating
Assist in the completion of key risk deliverables on risk exposures, trends and recommendations for the Board, senior management and stakeholders
Support delivery of risk-related projects
Support the business to maintain robust business resilience plans and deliver annual training and testing plans
Proactively look for and implement improvement opportunities across the Enterprise Risk Management and Business Resilience programs.
Internal Audit
Deliver internal audits with support from our inhouse internal audit team and/or co-sourced internal audit provider to deliver the approved Internal Audit Plan (IAP)
Provide advice on effective process and control design
Contribute to the Internal Audit strategic vision, including identification and implementation of initiatives to support the ongoing transformation of the Internal Audit function into an industry-leading function
Craft concise, articulate and impactful audit reports, ensuring audit recommendations are balanced and practical
Manage follow-up of agreed management actions in a timely manner
Build and maintain engagement with the business to promote Internal Audit as a trusted and valued business advisor
Support the Whistleblower Program including the delivery of misconduct and fraud related investigations where required
What We're Looking For
Three years plus of applicable experience
Knowledge and/or experience of Risk Management and Internal Audit principles, tools and methodologies
Experience in gaming/technology organisations would be viewed favourably
Managed multiple stakeholders and deliverables across tight deadlines
Excellent communicator and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to engage with stakeholders of all levels
Able to work in a fast-paced team environment providing consistent, high quality output
Team player who contributes to creating a respectful, inclusive and fun working environment.
