About the role
This role will work with key stakeholders across our CFC Supply Chain team and primarily provide a platform for providing actionable insights and timely and insightful analysis of key performance drivers to the team to support with key business improvements.
Your primary objective will be to proactively provide fact-based insights that identify opportunities to improve:
- Availability
- Sales
- Total Loss
- Inventory
- CFC Supply Chain Team Efficiency
- Customer experience
- Forecast quality
You will support the CFC Supply Chain team and stakeholders with actionable insights that support improvement of day to day KPIs, based on understanding of business objectives and industry knowledge.
You will also:
- Communicate findings and trends to key stakeholders simply and concisely
- Highlight opportunities to optimise CFC supply chain processes and outcomes
- Provide advanced analytical knowledge of solution across systems, specific to replenishment and forecasting
- Attend key CFC supply chain performance review meetings to provide insight to any challenges affecting KPIs and support solution development
- Lead and own end to end initiatives to identify and improve supply chain performance
- Constructively engage business partners and teams to drive understanding of process and accountability for improvement plans and actions\
- Be accountable for individual and team compliance with company values, policies and procedures
- Be a champion and display the Coles core values
About you and your skills
- We're looking for a passionate Senior Analytics Specialist that has a customer first focus, continuous improvement mindset. You'll also need:
- 5+ years' experience within Retail / FMCG / Supply Chain
- Proven ability to analyse data to ensure commercially astute business decisions can be formed
- Proven ability to identify business opportunities and challenges
- Ability to review business opportunities and processes, analyse and make recommendations for improvement
- Proven ability to influence decision making
- Experience with systems such as WRP, RMS and BIW ,
- SQL, R and Snowflake a plus
- A curious and inquisitive mind
