Senior Advisor, Finance Contracts

Eden Ritchie is seeking 3 x Senior Advisors, Finance Contracts to provide accurate, timely and relevant financial information and support to business areas within the Division. You will have oversight and facilitate contract payments to operators of public transport service.

• Three (3) positions available with following end dates:

• 1 x 24th December 2025
• 2 x 31st July 2026
• Brisbane CBD location

As the Senior Advisor, Finance Contracts, your key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and facilitate complex contract payments ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the payments and compliance with target timeframes.
• Provide specialist operational and strategic financial support and advice to business units within the Division.
• Provide expert and high-level advice on the costing of major initiatives and current business models to support effective decision making and contract negotiations.
• Provide subject matter expertise support passenger transport related projects.

Requirements of the role:

• Demonstrated contract finance skills including the delivery of complex contract payments extending to the investigation, analysis, and resolution of complex financial calculations. Experienced in the development of associated financial processes and models.
• Advanced financial management skills including financial analysis and reporting, month end processing, budget development and management, and financial ratio analysis.
• Excellent communication and relational skills to deliver complex financial and contractual information clearly and to work effectively with key stakeholders.
• Highly developed time management skills with the ability to meet critical deadlines while ensuring a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in the application of enterprise and custom finance related ICT systems such as SAP, Excel, Power Query, and Sharepoint.
