Senior Architect / Designer

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Architect with a focus on Design phases to join a growing Boutique with a strong pathway to further success and expansion.

The Studio:
Settled in a light-filled CBD office space, this 40-person Boutique boasts a (fully stocked) commercial coffee machine, open floor plan and Hybrid WFH arrangement for flexibility.

Having recently won some national design awards for their work within the Seniors Living sector, they have a strong pipeline of work across the sector alongside touch points in Commercial and standard residential work. They have also moved recently to diversify the studio's experience offering to include Mixed-use typologies, allowing for greater diversity in opportunity for staff and pipeline.

The Role:
Working closely alongside the director, you will be responsible for generating the initial form and concept from client brief.

As projects continue you will be responsible for leading the project through initial design phases, liaising closely with more junior members to ensure adherence to the brief and development and thoughtful design ideas.

The studio has an exceptionally strong, long-standing back-end team who will lead projects through Documentation and Delivery phases, so this role will ideally suit someone who is focused in the Design of projects, and confident in handing over responsibility to more technically-oriented Architects.

Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years' experience in architectural practice.
- Strong abilities with Revit (Rhino/Enscape are also ideal, but not essential).
- Confidence in developing conceptual ideas from client brief.
- Confidence leading consultant teams through front-end phases, managing multiple projects and delivering milestones efficiently.
- Current ARBV registration is highly regarded, but not essential.
