The Opportunity
As a Senior Assessing Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing complex Client and Child Protection Record Screening Assessments and Investigations,
  • Undertaking Projects, contributes to the development of Screening processes and practices, and
  • Providing professional technical advice and support to staff and other Customers.

There is currently one (1) permanent position available for immediate filling. As well as temporary positions available until 30 June 2023 with possibility of extension.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed term or permanent) that arise within the next 12 months across the Department of Communities.

Qualification Requirements
You must have a Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, or relevant human services area to be eligible for this position. All overseas qualifications must be assessed for Australian equivalency.
