About The Role:

The Senior Royalties Assessment Officer conducts compliance audits and prepares reports concerning assessment and collection of mining royalties. They gather information, research, apply relevant legislation and case law, analyse complex mining arrangements and communicate their findings to clients. In addition, this role assists in the resolution of royalty issues, provides advice on royalty policy, assist with royalty forecasting and royalty revenue and expenditure analysis.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a motivated professional who exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset, a high attention to detail and can work under time constraints with diverse groups of stakeholders.

Of equal importance, you will be someone who is collaborative, yet able to work independently and take initiative to complete complex assessments while remaining impartial. You will share our vision and values by delivering the highest level of customer service along with an ability to adapt to change and realign priorities as they arise, with a proactive and innovative approach to problem solving and a drive to achieve outcomes.
