What’s on offer?With continued growth in a project capability, we are now looking for Senior Asset Engineer to join our Sydney Road Asset Performance Contract Team based in Rydalmere. You will be the subject matter expert in the delivery of the Asset Management function through the development and implementation of processes to support decision-making and prioritisation of work programs. You will be responsible for:

• Assisting and enabling the Asset Management team in maintaining and enhancing the Asset Management System (AMS);
• Ensuring that the Strategic Asset Management approach flows through to the business-as-usual processes;
• Reviewing existing Technical Maintenance Plans, Service Schedules and Inspection Checklists on a regular basis with the Asset Inspection and Maintenance teams to validate the inspection and maintenance process against applicable TfNSW Asset Standards and Australian Standards;
• Provide leadership and guidance to Asset Management team members.

To be successful in this role you will have a civil engineering degree coupled with minimum 5 years’ experience as an Asset Engineer. You will have experience in road, bridges, drainage and maintenance infrastructure projects as well as experience, knowledge & understanding of asset management relating to structures and bridges. Your understanding in relevant legislative & TfNSW Asset Standards will ensure we are compliant in our Asset Management processes.Our people share the same set of values that keep us REAL.
