About the role:
The Senior Asset Manager (Capital) provides senior leadership, management direction and the delivery of key Capital Works projects and programs for Fire and Rescue NSW.
The role oversees and ensures the timely delivery of quality major developments, asset management plans, major/medium capital works, infrastructure and portfolio planning within budget to deliver on FRNSW infrastructure and strategic priority commitments.
The Senior Asset Manager (Capital) provides leadership throughout all phases of capital works beginning with identifying the need, scoping, land acquisition due diligence support, design, delivery and commissioning/handover of capital projects, as well as the strategic leadership, planning, management and governance of the services ensuring delivery meets operational and legislative requirements.
About you:
- You will have sound knowledge and experience in the building and construction industry, including major capital works programs, strategic planning, facilities management, contract management, risk profiling, WHS and compliance.
- Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements in facility management, capital/construction management, leasing, real property transactions, planning consent laws and policies and WHS.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in a property, construction or project management related field or equivalent industry experience in a similar role.
- Current NSW Class C Driver Licence and preparedness to drive long distances across the state in the course of performing the role (with overnight stays).
- Willingness and ability to fly to destinations as required in the course of performing the role (with overnight stays).
