About CM&E

Client Management & Execution (CM&E) is the Centre of Credit & Execution Excellence within Corporate Finance, and the broader NAB Corporate & Institutional Business (C&IB). CM&E teams work closely with CIB Coverage and Product teams to manage CIB customer portfolios.

CM&E aims to drive C&IB’s performance by leveraging its diverse talent and meaningful insights, with an objective to optimise the Bank's available capital. CM&E offers a great training platform for the future leaders of C&IB

The Role: Senior Associate, CM&E – IB Property

• A great opportunity has arisen to work within NAB’s market leading Corporate & Institutional Bank and gain exposure to Australia’s top Real Estate Investment Trusts, Wholesale Funds and Developers;
• The Senior Associate will be a key senior team member and part of a team that provides loan structuring, credit analysis, deal execution and portfolio risk management functions;
• Working closely with Client Coverage, you’ll have an opportunity to build on your existing credit/analytical and client relationship skills, and play a key role in driving superior client outcomes world class client relationships.

Further responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• Preparing credit submissions, structuring and documenting transactions.
• Utilising your financial modelling skills to forecast cashflows and make recommendations on transactions.
• Attend Client Meetings with Client Coverage and Product Partners.
• Monitor and manage the ongoing risk profile of your client portfolio, ensuring portfolio hygiene is maintained to a high standard.
• Conduct research and analysis to develop industry/sector expertise and knowledge.
• Provide guidance/coaching to graduates, interns and analysts, associates where required.

About you:

A natural team player, you’ll align yourself to a diverse portfolio of Institutional Property clients and work closely with the Client Coverage Team. Together you will continually improve our customer service delivery model whilst balancing the risk appetite of the Bank.

Your keen eye for detail with financial analysis, credit writing and legal documentation skills will equip you to make an instant impact in this highly absorbing, fast pace, and rewarding role.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with prior experience in Property and/or Construction will be a distinct advantage. A tertiary qualification in a Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce or Property discipline will complete the package.
This influential role will be key in underpinning the continued success of the #1 Institutional Property team in the market.
