The Role
The McCullough Robertson Corporate team is entrenched in the industries in which our clients operate. The team embodies what can be achieved when you combine deep sector knowledge with commerciality and technical excellence. This is evident in the quality and size of the work undertaken by the group, which is renowned Australia-wide.
The Corporate Advisory partners are a dynamic group and in this role you will have the benefit of working alongside the energy of the junior partners and the experience of the senior partners. You will do work for both listed and private clients spanning resources, renewable and energy transactions, corporate restructures, commercial contracting, corporate compliance, project finance and M&A.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with our clients, take ownership of matters, and mentor junior lawyers within the team, setting you up for a long and rewarding career. Our Corporate Advisory team is collegiate and enjoys working together in a positive and down-to-earth environment.
Experience
As the successful candidate, you will be a mid-level Senior Associate with experience in corporate law and a genuine interest in progressing your career in this area. Expertise in the resources industry is desirable and experience in M&A is essential, along with strong drafting and project management skills.
As a senior member of the team, you should be confident to take ownership and be a reliable support to partners on large matters. Furthermore, an excellent client service ethic and a desire to learn will place you in good stead to succeed.
