Your Role
A great opportunity exists for a Senior Associate with passion for leasing to join our Brisbane office on a permanent full time basis.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a core area of our real estate business while being well supported with state of the art technology and systems. While this role is physically based in Brisbane, you will work across multiple jurisdictions supporting national clients as part of our collaborative national leasing team.
Some of our major leasing clients include Abacus, Alceon, CBA, Charter Hall, Cromwell, Haben, GPT, Reading, Retpro, Stockland, Suncorp, Vicinity and Woolworths.
The Team
The Brisbane leasing team is led by Partner Tanya Sciasci. In this role you will also work closely with our national network of leasing specialists.
Our leasing team are well known for our commercial and pragmatic approach to leasing transactions, delivering a whole of lifecycle service offering for our clients and focusing on facilitating a partnership between landlord and tenants, leading to optimal outcomes for our clients.
More About You
We welcome applications from lawyers with 4+ years PQE who have experience in retail, commercial and/or industrial leasing and a passion for this area of law. You will have an ability to manage client relationships and leasing transactions with minimal supervision and have the ability to provide guidance and mentoring to more junior members of the team.
You will also have:

- a very strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers and clients
- superior drafting ability and a strong attention to detail
- the ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and
