Associate / Senior Associate - Litigation & Disputes

With an existing network of SME clients on the coast, and a strong existing litigation caseload, this boutique commercial firm are seeking to hire an experienced lawyer to lead the Litigation and Disputes practice.

The opportunity:

• Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for managing litigation and disputes matters, across a range of areas, from an established and growing client base and your own referral sources.
• Matters will include contractual disputes, business disputes, insolvency, debt recovery, property litigation, leasing disputes and trusts & estates litigation.
• You will collaborate effectively with the marketing and business development manager to increase brand awareness in the Litigation & Disputes domain - seeking to grow and develop your own, and the firm's, networks.
• You will offer commerciality, entrepreneurial spirit and a leadership mindset.

About you:

• Expertise across a range of Litigation & Disputes areas; biased experience in certain dispute niches will be embraced.
• An appetite for Partnership / Equity options in the mid term.
• You will achieve realistic billable hours of 4.5 per day.
