The Senior Associate, PMO Manager will be part of the CIB PMO and work closely with the Program Director to ensure efficient project management, resource allocation and compliance to Westpac's Delivery Excellence Standards. Key responsibilities include program governance, project coordination, resource allocation, portfolio management, quality assurance, risk management, reporting, stakeholder management, support for project managers, and continuous process improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Help co-ordinate funding and approval submissions for program
- Report on whether projects are delivering capabilities in line with the baselined scope, schedule, costs and benefits in line with the agreed investment plans
- Management of the Program schedule and interdependencies through tracking, analysis and feedback to the Program Director
- Work with the Program Director to ensure the program adheres to Program Execution, Project Execution, Program/Project Governance, Change Management and Risk frameworks, Project Accounting Guidelines and methodologies as outlined by the Enterprise Investment Services (EIS)
- Work with the Program Director to ensure that all mandatory templates, documentation and processes are completed and signed off for compliance and audit purposes
- Ensure appropriate project governance processes are embedded within each project
- Establish, monitor and coordinate project reporting timelines and structures
- Review and monitor reporting commentary on projects and ensure there is transparency in reporting

What do I need?
To be successful in this role you will come from a similar role within Westpac. Ideally, you will have at least five years' experience leading and managing medium to large programs/projects with one or more of the following characteristics:
- Indicative cost up to $20M
- Medium reliance on external partners
- Management of diverse stakeholder expectations, across different business divisions
- Delivery Framework: Waterfall and Agile
