We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our Risk and Operational Efficiency team with the Finance division. This pivotal role supports the leaders and teams to meet risk management and compliance accountabilities. In addition, this role also supports the Manager, Operational Efficiency in delivering the Operational Excellence program of works within T&EO Finance.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Actively manages risks and compliance matters by ensuring day to day risks are identified and that risk events are escalated in accordance with policy and in a timely manner.
- Coordinates and contributes to Finance risk management reporting and provide commentary where required.
- Facilitates and coordinates the completion of ROMS and FDC certifications for T&EO Finance.
- Analyse incidents and events and communicate insights to the responsible person/team and leadership team.
- Continuously drive improvement to process performance and efficiency through the Operational Excellence program.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the risk management framework.
What you will bring:
- Strong experience in risk and change management.
- Sound experience with process improvement initiatives.
- Enjoys working collaboratively and building positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Background in project management & delivery preferred.
- Ability to turn complex and diverse results into readily understandable reports.
- Knowledge and understanding of NAB policies.
- Experience working across a wide range of Business Executives and their delegates.
- Uncompromising drive, passion, focus, and energy to help innovate and drive change.
- Tertiary qualification required in Commerce/Business.
