The opportunity:
We are seeking a highly capable, confident and motivated lawyer with 4 to 8 years’ PAE experience to join our highly regarded personal injury team based in our Sydney CBD office. The practice will primarily focus on Defendant Historical Abuse work, although it may also handle some plaintiff matters in various jurisdictions. Ideally we are looking for candidates who are able to exercise autonomy and initiative and be accustomed to conducting a high volume of personal injury files, including Historical Abuse claims.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with clients
- Managing high volume files
- Attending court and settlements
- Legal research
Successful candidates will have:
- A current NSW Practicing Certificate
- Prior experience in Defendant Historical Abuse
- A minimum of 4 years PAE in Personal Injury Law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong client relationship and business development skills
- A high attention to detail
- The demonstrated ability to prioritise work and manage competing deadlines
