Full-Time | 9 Weeks | Flexible Hours

Western Sheds is a successful shed retailer, we pride ourselves on our professionalism and customer service.
We are looking for a professional, customer service orientated Administration Assistant, to join our small, friendly team.
This role is unique in that it begins as a full-time casual position for the first 9 weeks (extended leave cover), with the view of becoming an ongoing part time role.
The initial 9 weeks will have you assisting with the below duties and beyond this time, additionally you’d be trained in Sales, handling new enquiries, and quoting new jobs.
Duties include:
- Answering phones, taking messages
- Data entry and record keeping
- Assisting in the management of customer orders and deliveries
- Assisting with council application preparation and submissions
- Other ad hoc duties
Experience:
- Previous admin or accounts experience is required, minimum 3 years in a similar role
- Must have high attention to detail and accuracy
- Desire to be an office allrounder
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Including spelling and grammar
- Ability to multi-task
- Basic knowledge of MS Office necessary
- Basic knowledge of Xero or similar advantageous
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a long standing, friendly, local company, working your desired times within our opening hours which are 7.30am – 5.00pm, Monday – Friday.
There will be a 3 week training period before the extended leave period commences. We hope to have the new employee commence as soon as possible.
