We are currently recruiting for an Employment Lawyer who will take the reins and take on a leadership role as Practise Leader and complement the firms most recent strategic additions, including a new General Manager and two adept Practice Heads. These expansions mark the beginning of an exciting growth trajectory and set to welcome more talented individuals throughout 2024. Situated in an expansive and sophisticated office, currently accommodating a robust team, a buoyant client base of existing clients will be conveyed to you, some boasting up to 1000 employees. Our client has been a trusted partner in handling a consistent flow of front and back-end Employment Law matters. As their caseload grows, they have made the strategic decision to bring this service in-house, marking a significant shift in the firm’s operational landscape.
The spectrum of Employment Law cases is vast, covering both front and back-end intricacies. We are seeking a seasoned practitioner proficient in delivering comprehensive contract packages and advice, adept at skilfully resolving employment disputes. The ideal candidate is a leader who can seize opportunities and possesses a commercial mindset, ready to cultivate a mid-market, employer-focused Employment practice, predominantly driven by existing client relationships.
Your journey will be well-supported by a dedicated Special Counsel in the Commercial team, offering assistance and a second pair of eyes for front-end work. Their litigation team is also ready to step in for disputes or Fair Work Commission matters also. Whilst the firms long-term vision involves expanding the practice with specialised Employment Lawyers reporting to you, in the interim, you'll be seamlessly integrated into the daily fabric of the team, promoting collaboration.
