About the role:
This role is perfect for a Structural Engineer who has held the senior title and is looking to take on more responsibility. People and project management will be the major focus for this role while overseeing technical design by others. Acting a a 2IC to the management team, you will be the eyes and ears of the office in their absence.
Your day will involve:
- Daily engagement with clients
- Guide, manage and mentor the mid level engineers
- Resolve technical design&construction queries
- Close collaboration with the management team
- Supporting the civil team
Your talents will include:
- Minimum seven years Melbourne consultancy experience
- A varied portfolio of delivered projects
- PE Vic/CPEng status highly desirable
- Highly confident with construction teams
- Strong people & project management skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Confidence managing client requests
- Passion and a genuine desire to mentor others
