Senior Associate – Wills & Estates

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Senior Associate to join our Wills & Estates Team based primarily in our Headquarters in Parramatta.

The successful applicant will be able to hit the ground running having:

• 5-10 years’ PQE gained in a highly regarded Wills & Estates practice or law firm;
• relevant experience across estate/succession, FPA and equity litigation;
• front-end exposure to drafting wills, testamentary trusts, enduring Powers of Attorney, grant applications and letters of administration;
• advise on estate planning, trust structures and family provision claims where appropriate;
• perform estate administration, including asset realisation through to distribution;
• ability to provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice to business partners, internal stakeholders and the like;
• proven capability of managing and supervising staff;
  ability to participate in and develop own business development activities with a view to helping grow the practice;
• strong advocacy and client management skills;
• ability to build strong relationships with clients through empathy and active listening;
• excellent communication and attention to detail;
• high level of organisation and prioritisation, initiative, proactivity and professionalism;
• ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
• strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
