We are seeking a Senior Service Technician to work in our Audio Visual team - this role will play a vital role in the health and stability of our client's AV systems.
The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of technical expertise and leadership to deliver through a meticulous attention to detail, thorough communication and providing impeccable execution of the maintenance of audio-visual systems.
Applicants must be Australian Citizens and have the ability to obtain an NV1 security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
As a senior member of our team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment, providing technical guidance to junior technicians, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Technical Expertise: Utilise your in-depth knowledge of audiovisual systems to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction through effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to proactively address potential issues and optimise system performance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, equipment configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to coordinate installations and service activities. Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Team Guidance: Provide guidance and support to enhance Service Technicians' skills and performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Similar demonstrated experience in a commercial organisation.
- Training and certifications with leading AV manufacturers.
- Certificate III or IV in Telecommunications Technology (desirable).
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
- Construction industry white card, Asbestos Awareness, Asbestos Handling and Silica Awareness certificates.
- NV1 Government Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one as required.
- Understanding of quality, work health and safety and environmental practices.
