The Opportunity
Sitting within the PMO team, the Senior BI Developer position has been created to drive the BI solution for this global business.
Some of the key tasks include:
•Consult with Business Analysts and internal leaders across the business.
•Partner with Data Engineers to ensure data quality and best practice with data management.
•Understand ETL processes and integration solutions when collating data from multiple sources.
•Develop & deploy Azure analysis services and data models in line with business information needs.
•Utilise Power BI to build interactive dashboards and visual reporting templates for your stakeholders.
•Ensure that the BI Solutions are up to date, scalable and fit for purpose on an ongoing basis.
•Compile and update technical documentation on all BI related processes.
About You!
•You are a BI / Data professional with a track record of developing BI solutions for a commercial organisation.
•You have sound technical skills with Power BI, SQL, SSAS, SSIS as well as DAX & Tabular editing
•Bring prior experience working with Azure and understand ETL processes.
•Can demonstrate expertise with data modelling and building dashboards and reports that are visual.
•Interpersonally, you are a team player with a passion for adding value. You are naturally curious and love developing solutions to be put into everyday use.
