As Senior Report Developer, you'll spearhead the development, testing, deployment, and management of reports and datasets for NSW Government client. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define requirements, ensure precise reporting, and maintain efficient data modeling and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problems and develop reporting analytics solutions.
- Develop and maintain data analytics solutions, including visualizations, to meet stakeholder needs.
- Deploy solutions across multiple environments and maintain technical documentation.
- Review systems for performance and maintenance, ensuring efficient data pipelines and stores.
- Collaborate with data owners and business units to develop reporting models and protocols.
- Assist in database and data warehouse design for interoperability with data solutions.
- Perform data profiling, analysis, and create ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Implement security controls and ensure data confidentiality.
- Utilize Power BI tools for advanced configuration and data refresh processes.
- Support knowledge management, education, continuous improvement, and risk management initiatives.
About You
- Degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Management, Information Technology, or relevant field.
- Extensive experience in business intelligence, reporting/analytics, and data solutions.
- Proficiency in Power BI Premium and data warehousing architecture.
- Strong experience with SQL, Python, or Scala, and Microsoft technology stack.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to innovate, strategize, and deliver outcomes within ICT frameworks.
