What your new job looks like
As a member of the CHUConsult team, you will be responsible for driving an outstanding customer experience, delivering market leading strata building consultancy through quality technical response. Taking a Senior role in the team you will also provide technical advice and guidance to you colleagues and wider team.
- Building Consultancy comprising residential & commercial strata
- Causation investigation and analysis
- Remediation advice and guidance
- Insurance Underwriting surveys
- Identify building defects and damage
- Prepare and issuance of reports to articulate causation, extent of loss, and recommended remediation
- Scope preparation and validation
- Support CHU on the delivery of key strategic initiatives and projects
- Work cohesively with all other claims teams within CHU
- Provide technical claims advice for colleagues within your team
- Providing risk insights and guidance to the Underwriting team
- Willingness to develop and mentor Building Consultants
We'd love to meet you
Especially if you can talk to us about your:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar consultancy role
- Hold a current Builders Licence - this is mandatory
- Thorough knowledge of the building industry
- Thorough knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards
- Ability to communicate with all customers both verbally and in written form
- Ability to identify building defects and damage
- Ability to produce complex reports
- Current residency in or willingness to relocate to NSW
Education/Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree / Tertiary Qualification in Building.
- Trade qualification.
- Minimum 10 years related work experience
