Your new role
Reportingto the Coordinator Building Services, in this role you will be responsible forundertaking day-to-day duties associated with the processing of variousstatutory building applications. Your primary responsibilities will be:
Assessing and processing building applications ensuring compliance with relevant legislation including the Building Act 2011, Building Regulations 2012 and National Construction Code.Maintaining appropriate recordsProviding a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholdersProviding technical advice to internal and external stakeholders relevant to building mattesCarrying out inspections prior to issue of occupancy permitsProvide leadership support to the Coordinator Building ServicesWhat you'll need to succeed To besuccessful in this role you will need:
Demonstrated experience in a building surveying roleComprehensive understanding of relevant building legislationRegistration as a Building Surveying Practitioner Level 2Current 'C' Class Driver's LicenceTertiary qualification in Building Surveying or EquivalentWhat you'll get in return Inaddition to its central location and good public transport accessibility, thisrole offers a permanent opportunity in a bustling and vibrant City.
