You will work on a large, multi-year Data & Privacy program of work, delivering a mixture of both business analysis and change management responsibilities.
This is a Brisbane based, 6 month contract role with a strong chance of extension. We offer flexible working in a hybrid model, including work from home.
Your role will include the following responsibilities:
- Understand business needs and strategies
- Gather and document business requirements, processes, and systems for Privacy and Data Governance
- Analyse proposed changes' impact on current processes and systems
- Propose effective approaches to business and technical requirements
- Assist with business case development
- Develop and deliver internal communication plans and change documents
- Coordinate with corporate communications and technology change management teams
- Assist with change release planning and coordination
- Establish repeatable success using agreed methodologies
- Build strong business relationships
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Regularly meet with internal stakeholders to understand their strategies and needs
You should have the following skills and experience:
- Solid experience working as a Senior Business Analyst in a medium to large commercial environment
- Understanding of relevant Privacy legislation and associated regulations
- Background in data management, including system/data mapping, data schema, and data flows
- Exposure to data catalogue platforms and tools (e.g., Collibra, MS Purview IPS, etc.)
- Experience evaluating and documenting business and technical requirements in detail
- Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships
- Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and techniques
- Business Analysis qualifications (e.g., BCS IDBA/CBAP, IIBA CCBA/CBAP, PMI-PBA)
- Expert knowledge and application of techniques in the BABOK
- Experience in enterprise change management and delivering communications initiatives for large-scale projects
- Understanding of change methodologies and communications best practices
