About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst, to join the Customer and Commercial team. The team is working on delivering new and improved business capabilities to better position us in a rapidly changing energy industry.
As Senior Business Analyst you will be responsible for taking a lead role in the provision of specialised, high level commercial business intelligence and management expertise to support overall performance management, business development and improvement initiatives.
As Senior Business Analyst you will be further responsible for the provision of comprehensive strategic advice and recommendations to Senior and Executive management relating to analysis, planning and reporting processes.
This role will be based within the Essential Energy footprint with the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment.
About You
As an ideal candidate, you bring extensive experience in a similar role within the Energy/Electrical or Utilities Industry. Your track record includes analysing business and operational data, preparing detailed reports, and delivering impactful presentations to senior management.
You're no stranger to the world of reporting and business intelligence tools, with expert proficiency in Microsoft products and programs. Your ability to interpret and implement requirements for senior managers and critical stakeholders sets you apart.

You think strategically, innovatively, and laterally, identifying key problems and developing actionable recommendations. Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business Management, Commerce or Accounting or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
