One of Hudson's long term valued clients are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Business Case Writer for an initial 6-month contract on a Customer Portal implementation project.
The Role
The Business Case Writer will be required to manage and write a Board level Business Case to determine the approach necessary to implement a new Customer Portal solution, working closely with the architecture team. This will involve analysis of requirements, options, costings and benefits and recommending a preferred way forward.
Must have experience with presenting to board members with a successful outcome.
Skills and experience required:
- Demonstrated experience in market analysis, product evaluations and writing complex Business Cases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate with ICT and business senior executives, internal and external stakeholders and to escalate issues appropriately.

- Demonstrable interpersonal, consultative, organisational and facilitation skills
- Demonstrable experience engaging with geographically diverse project teams
- High attention to detail and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
- Ability to structure information to meet the needs and understanding of the intended audience
- Demonstrated experience (5 years) in a Business Analyst role, preferably in a digital transformation and ICT environment
- Good business/commercial acumen
- Proficient working with Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrable experience regarding analytical thinking and problem solving
- Flexible and agile in responding to changes to requirements and scope of work
Desirable:
- Knowledge and experience of Customer Portal systems and applications
- Certification in BABOK (or an ability to demonstrate a deep level of understanding in business analysis methodologies)
