About the role
This is a full time permanent opportunity located in Brisbane CBD.
The Senior Business Analyst (Finance) will primarily focus on Financial systems (such as the ERP, PPM and budgeting tools) to ensure the identification and delivery of business requirements, technical implementation, and ongoing appropriate and timely system support. The position serves as the primary contact point between vendors, ICT, product owners and subject matter experts.
Key activities include:
- Provide business analysis services for assigned systems, most typically Financial Systems, from request triage, concept requirements through to oversight of User Acceptance testing and implementation planning.
- Interpret the vision, strategy, objectives, priorities, and drivers for Finance and other assigned internal customer groups, and map these to system development roadmaps.
- Manage the relationships between internal customers, ICT and vendors to provide consolidated input into the design, configuration, delivery, testing and deployment of assigned systems.
About you
- Extensive experience working as a Business Analyst, ideally with experience in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong experience in the design, configuration, delivery and technical administration of COTS systems.
- Capable of defining and documenting processes with the ability to translate business requirements into technical information, understood by suppliers and product owners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and the ability to establish effective customer relationships.
- Degree qualified in an Information Technology / Management Information Systems, business or equivalent domain.
