Kmart Australia’s Merchandise and Supply Chain technology group is responsible for bringing products that delight our customers from across the globe into our stores throughout Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work with our recently appointed Performance and Delivery Principal, to drive excellence in our delivery of technology projects.
You will be assisting in designing, refining and rolling out a common methodology for project delivery within the group, supporting our operations and enabling Kmart to be at the forefront of retail technology in Australia.
What you’ll be doing:
•
Assisting in defining and aligning IT Projects to the overarching business strategy of the Kmart Group. Assist the Performance and Delivery Principal in defining and embedding key metrics to measure project success and rolling out a reporting framework, based on those metrics.

Supporting IT Project Teams across the portfolio to ensure the foundational processes are in place to excel in project delivery.
•
Lead and implement process improvements, from concept to delivery.
•
Leading the development of frameworks and models to uplift both technology and business engagement
•
Ensure delivery of functionality meets the business requirement.
•
Leading the response on systemic risk and response
•
Engaging with diverse stakeholders from across the organisation, facilitating workshops where appropriate and bringing together varied groups to build a stronger delivery engine.
•
Undertake deep dives into projects in flight, enabling them to transition our future state of delivery capability.
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
•
A structured approach to Business Analysis, operating independently and self-managing competing priorities within complex IT project environments.
•
A curious mindset, eye for detail, and ability to context-shift between detailed analysis of technical processes and their interaction with the complex machinery of a large IT portfolio.
•
A drilled approach to change management, pragmatic communication style and consultative mindset – able to bring diverse stakeholders with competing priorities together to drive and adopt strategic initiatives.
•
Extensive experience designing and implementing BI reports, with a focus on consistency across varied technology groups.
•
Advanced communication abilities – the ability to tailor your style to suit diverse stakeholders, including C-level execs and stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding.
•
A background in IT/Management Consulting and is highly advantageous though candidate with diverse industry backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
